Good morning! Happy Sunday! My favorite season is approaching and I cannot wait. There is something about fall that makes me so happy! Maybe it's the fashion or just the thought of being cozy and drinking a pumpkin spice latte... who knows, but seriously, fall is the best. Sadly, before we can get to 'real fall' we have to go through this awkward stage of wondering what season to dress for. It's not summer anymore, but it certainly isn't fall yet either. No more worries! Today, I will be sharing five outfit ideas and tips that will make picking out what to wear in the morning over the next few weeks a piece of cake!
Outfit No. 1
Wear your favorite white top with darker clothing pieces
One of the saddest feelings is when you have to put away your favorite summer pieces for the season. I always dread switching out my wardrobe, but one of the best tips I have for transitioning is to wear a white, summery, top with darker fall pieces on the bottom. This flowy white top looks great with black pants and black booties. It is cool enough to wear on the hotter days and warm enough to wear on the colder days. Totally makes for the perfect in-between outfit!

Outfit No. 2
Wear a fall dress with sandals.
For this look, I wanted to show you all that you can mix seasons together; especially during these transitioning weeks. This fall dress looks great with these black lace up sandals. This tip also works well the other way! Try wearing a summery dress with your favorite fall booties. These are both perfect looks for more dressier occasions during your week.

Outfit No. 3
Wear fall pieces that have cut-out detailing
One of the my favorite trends for the season ahead are tops with cut outs. I am so happy this style is trending because it makes for the perfect transitioning piece. I paired this gorgeous sweater with some simple sandals to keep the two season's flairs at a happy medium. This sweater is the perfect mix of chunky and flowy. Finding pieces that have characteristics of both fall fashion and summer fashion are perfect. You get the best of both worlds!

Cozy up your average pair of jean shorts with a jacket.
Don't put away your jean shorts just yet! They look perfect with your favorite fall jackets. Whether it be a leather jacket, bomber jacket, or even my personal favorite, an army jacket...jackets never fail to give your outfit a fall touch! I finished off this look with a simple tee and a long layered necklace to keep it cozy.

Outfit No. 5
Pair your favorite bright tank with a chunky cardigan
For this last outfit, I wanted y'all to know that you can still wear your favorite summery trends during the next couple weeks. Keep the pom-poms coming! I paired this adorable pom-pom tank with a chunky sweater. These two pieces compliment each other so well. This outfit wouldn't be complete without a button down jean skirt. This definitely brings a fall vibe to your look without being over-kill. I finished it off with some sandals that have a pop of color.
