Hello Friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful week. I am so happy that fall is officially here in just a few days! A new season means new fashion trends to try out. I think a big trend this season will be denim. I love that so many atypical denim pieces like flared jeans and jumpsuits are making a comeback. It's so cool. Today I will be styling a unique denim find: flared cropped jeans. Yes they are kind of funky and a little bit out there, but I think that's why I was drawn to them. I love it when you can make crazy pieces work!
I decided to style these jeans with a classic white oxford. The classic top keeps it chic. I decided to tie the oxford instead of tucking it in to match the relaxed look of the denim. A combination of classic and edgy is what can make a look super stylish. This outfit needed some texture so I wore these adorable suede heels. They have a fabulous tassel detailing on the back. How fun is that!? The shoes give the otherwise structured outfit some frill. Chunky heels have been all the rage lately and I think these shoes totally completed the look. I love that this outfit is composed of simple pieces but it still makes a statement.
Outfit Details:
Shirt: Ralph Lauren, TJmaxx
Jeans: Old Navy (similar wash) (I got mine for $2! say what?!)
Shoes: Zooshoo
