Yay, it's Sunday, my favorite day of the week. I see Sundays as fresh starts. It is up to you to make the week ahead the best yet! As you may have noticed, I've been a little MIA from social media this week. I spent the past five days at a church camp. Experiences like this are rejuvenating. Life is so so good, friends! Maybe it's because I spent a lot of time in sporty gear at camp this week, but today I decided that it would be fun to share an alternative to your average athletic wear.
Whenever Kate (my twin/photographer/bff) and I shop together, we always say, "Let's not be basic!" We love to look for unique pieces of clothing and switch things up a little bit. It makes things so much more exciting! I found this adorable sweatshirt dress at one of my all time favorite boutiques. I absolutely love the pastel pink color. This dress has so much detail. From the neon draw string to the cut out back... it can't get much better than this! Let's zero in on this lovely cut out back for a sec. I have a major weakness for fun sports bras. TJmaxx gets me every single time!! (Can anyone else relate?! please tell me I'm not the only one!!) I love that I can wear one of my favorites with this dress and have it be part of the outfit. This look has such a fun contrast between bright colors and neutrals. I decided to wear my comfiest tennis shoes. They aren't the most fashionable things ever, but my feet definitely won't be caught crying in them!! This look is the perfect little outfit to wear on a hike, a little stroll around the neighborhood or even running errands. It's definitely one of my go-to looks when I'm looking to be comfy and casual!

Workout clothes doesn't always mean leggings! Get creative and try new things! As always, please let me know if there is anything you'd like to see next here on Merging Threads!
Have a lovely week filled with lots and lots of happiness!!
xx, Anne
