Happy Monday, friends!! I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful (but very hot!!) sunshine that June brings. Over a year ago, I wrote a blogpost that shared my top 10 essentials & tips for creating a minimalist wardrobe. Today, I will be taking it a step further by sharing three pairs of shoes you will ONLY need this summer.
Shoe No. 1: Block Heels
When I began thinking about the practicality of the shoes I selected for this post, these shoes seemed like a no brainer. These cuties are perfect for all of your dressier events. They are SO comfy! I wore them for eight hours and my feet didn't even hurt! Not only can they be paired with a more formal dress, they also look lovely with an everyday dress. What's great about these beauties is that the heel isn't too high. That means they can be worn as an everyday sandal but also double as your dressy shoe for the season. I've had these beauties for almost a year, and let me tell ya, you need them. They are so comfy and practical. These sneaks look absolutely adorable with casual dresses, jeans, shorts-- you name it! These are also great because they are a fashionable sneaker that doubles as an athletic sneaker. These can be worn on the streets or the gym! Did you hear me say perfect shoe? Cuz I just did. Shoe No. 3: Birkenstocks
Birkenstocks have been around for what seems like eternity. I think that's for a reason. These shoes are just about as comfy as you can get. I walked miles and miles and miles in these all around NYC. I couldn't help but include these because quite frankly, I don't know what I would do without them. These shoes can be worn on the beach, to the pool, or with your average outfit. I love these shoes the most because they are so easy. You just slip them on, and you are good to go.
