Happy Sunday! PROM PROM PROM!! Oh what fun!! Today I will be sharing a quick recap of last night's look along with some fun pics with my beautiful friends.
When I began to browse the internet for my prom dress, I knew I wanted something simple and a little bohemian. I ended up purchasing this gorgeous neutral hued dress with blush under-tones. I absolutely adore the dress's small details. It has the prettiest frills down the sides, a deep V in the back, and a tie around the waist with tassels attached to the ends. Since I was going for a very minimalistic, bohemian vibe, I based the rest of my look's elements on the same style!

I wore my hair in a very simple, loose, curly ponytail and pulled some pieces down at the front of my face. This was the perfect tousled hairstyle to complete the look.

I wanted to keep it super simple & natural. I stuck with warm, glowy tones. I'm no make-up guru, but if you would ever be interested in seeing a make-up look similar to this one on the blog, let me know!

You guessed it! I kept it pretty minimal. I love the way the block heels looked with my dress (I kept them on all night & my feet didn't even hurt!). They contributed to the modern/minimalist inspiration of the look. You can purchase a pair here. For jewelry I wore one of my favorite gold bangles and a dainty ring.
GUYS!! Let's talk about flowers for a sec. I continued the earthy-minimalistic look with my beautiful corsage. I absolutely adored it! (it even had lavender in it!!) Special shout out to Barb... Thank you!!
Oh how I love prom!! Being a part of all your high school's big annual events is so fun, but prom is totally the quintessential experience. You feel like you are right out of Disney Channel! It makes my heart oh so happy!! Dressing up & being surrounded by all the people you love is one of the greatest things.
