Travel Series No. 4: NYC Outfits

Sunday, June 26, 2016

Good morning! I hope all of you are enjoying your summer! As most of you know from my Instagram, I just got back from New York City. I had the most amazing time. The city is absolutely wonderful. Today, I will be sharing my outfits from the week!

Day One:
I went for a simple and chic look. I paired a classic oxford with my new favorite jeans, some big sunnies, and Nikes. This outfit was the perfect outfit for the first day in the city.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Oxford: Tjmaxx, Ralph Lauren
Jeans: TJmaxx, Lucky Brand
Shoes: Nike
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook (currently not available)

Day Two:
This is one of my favorite outfits from the trip. I paired my comfy
black skort with my favorite oversized striped top. I decided to wear my hair in braids to make the look seem casual but still chic.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Top: Loft
Skort: JCrew Factory
Shoes: Nike
Sunnies: Betsey Johnson, TJMaxx
Bag: DailyLook

Later that Evening:
I picked up this dress a couple weeks before we left and it ended up being the perfect dress to throw on before heading to the theatre. I paired this beauty with my fav lace-up sandals.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Dress: Old Navy
Bag: Dailylook
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)

Day Three:
This outfit was perfect for a full day of visiting museums and Central Park. I wore a skort again today, with a chambray blouse and birks. This outfit was super comfy, but still looked super cute.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Top: Target
Skort: Gap Outlet
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook

Later that Evening:
I was headed back to Broadway and wore one of my favorite dresses. I decided to try wearing my hair in a slicked back pony tail to give this outfit a bit more of a glam vibe.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Dress: Old Navy
Bag: Dailylook
Cuff: Francesca's
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)

Day Four:
Wearing this super cute denim jumpsuit was perfect for a sunny Sunday! I was cool and comfortable all day long exploring the streets of SoHo.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Jumpsuit: Old Navy
Sunnies:TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook

Day Five:
This is one of my favorite summer outfits and it was the perfect outfit for a day in NYC. The denim shorts make a classic piece like the striped oxford a bit more edgy and better suited for such a stylish city!

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook

Later that Evening:
I wore this super cute lace up top that I actually purchased that day at T J Maxx (of course I had to go to TJmaxx in NYC). This outfit was perfect for eating at a yummy Italian Restaurant and going up on the Top of the Rock.

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Top: TJMaxx
Bag: Dailylook
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)

Day Six:
For the last full day in the city, due to the weather, I ended up not wearing what I originally planned and opted for this cute little dress. It ended up being super hot... but I stayed cool in this fun dress!

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Dress: Loft
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook

Later that Evening:
I had to wear my favorite fringe jacket for the last night in the city! I never get tired of styling this piece! I love how you can dress it up or down to make it work for any occasion. It made for a super fun look for a night on Broadway. Quick plug for the theatre... I saw the musical Waitress that night and LOVED it. Y'all should go check out the Original Cast Recording on Spotify or Itunes. It was soooo good! My sis took this pic super quick... so sorry if it is a little dark! :P

Outfit Details (linked what is available):
Jacket: SheIn
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack, Chinese Laundry (newer version)
Sunnies: TJmaxx, Steve Madden (different color linked)
Bag: Dailylook

I hope you all enjoyed this post! I already miss the city... but I am excited to see what the rest of my summer brings. Enjoy your week!
xx, Anne
