Happy Sunday, friends! A couple weeks I received the prettiest package in the mail with a gorgeous pair of Talaria Flats inside! Talaria flats aren’t your average shoe. They are foldable and can fit in just about any clutch or purse. How cool is that!? They are perfect for occasions when you want to wear your favorite heels but you don't want your feet to hurt all night. In last week's post, I mentioned that I brought my foldable flats to Homecoming. About mid-way through the dance, my feet were telling me it was totally time to make the switch. A Little About Talaria Flats:
Talaria Flats was founded by Ingrid Sarvar (the absolute sweetest person ever!). The shoes are sold at Kleinfeld's in New York City featured in the TLC tv show Say Yes to the Dress.
Why the Name Talaria Flats?
Talaria (tuh-LAH-ree-uh) is the name of the winged sandal worn by Hermes, the messenger god of Ancient Greek mythology. The sandals were made of impenetrable gold and had wings on them, allowing him to travel safely and quickly. And Talaria Flats are the modern day version of this story - shoes that allow a woman to continue on her journey through the day or night.

I absolutely adore these flats. The fact that their simple style doesn't limit me to wearing them only on night-outs or fancier occasions when my feet hurt, but allows for everyday wear makes adds to their practicality. These flats can be styled so many different ways. You can never go wrong with investing in versatile shoes. I like how I can wear them casually with a dress, be preppy and wear them with a popover & cardigan, or be chic and wear them with my personal favorite, a fur vest. I have a feeling that I will be wearing my Talarias non-stop during the holiday season. They will be so festive and fun for all of my holiday festivities. A little champagne sparkle goes a long way!
