Hello friends! I hope your week treated you well. It seems that lately I constantly look to wear outfits that are far from predictable. To be completely honest, sometimes I get bothered by summer fashion. I feel limited to dresses especially on certain occasions. For today's outfit I put together a perfect alternative that is a little more dressy but still has that fun summer vibe.

I didn't realize until now that my whole outfit is basically from TJmaxx-- but hey where else would it be from?! Alrighty, for this look, I wanted to create a fun summer vibe without wearing a dress. I think this can be challenging. When I think of summer fashion, sundresses are usually the first thing that comes to mind. I knew I needed a fun and vibrant color in order to pull off the perfect summer look. I went for this lovely, off-the-shoulder, marigold top. To make this look a little bit more relaxed, I paired this top with my favorite boyfriend jeans. I opted for a looser denim because it adds to the fun, summery look that I am going for. These jeans are great for the summer because they aren't gonna be too hot like a skinny jean. I also love the way this denim wash compliments the marigold blouse-- talk about the perfect combo! For accessories I wanted to add some simple pieces that would enhance the look. I added this lovely embellished clutch which I absolutely adore. The deep navy velvet adds the perfect contrast to the rest of the outfit. As for shoes, I wore a suede mule that would elongate the look. I love that this outfit is composed of simple pieces, but when paired together, it creates the perfect statement.
